FAQ

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. SnapID processes everything on-device. Photos never leave your iPhone or iPad — there is no server, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

Why does the app ask for camera and photo library access?

Camera access is only used when you tap “Take Photo.” Photo library access is only used when you pick an existing image. Both are local — nothing is uploaded.

Which countries / specs are supported?

SnapID ships with the most common passport, visa, and ID specs (US, UK, EU, Japan, Korea, China and more). You can also create custom specs by entering a width × height in mm.

Will the official agency accept my photo?

SnapID produces a photo that meets the listed dimensional and background-color spec. Some agencies require additional verification (e.g. printed paper, biometric checks); please confirm requirements with the issuing authority before final submission.

How do I print the photo at a kiosk?

On the result screen, tap “Save” to add the layout (4×6 in / 6×4 in / A4) to your photo library, then send it to any kiosk or print shop. The KB-target compressor in Settings keeps file size under common upload limits.
